Wow that's fun! I was just saying the other day that I ought to think of things to "practice" when I'm surfing. Like you would with any other sport.
Bec from Australia also recommended Breath. I'll have to check that out, too.
Did you pop up with your front or back foot forward? I was trying a few unsuccessfully and I think that was my main confusion looking back.

I was popping up with my front foot forward. ie: goofy foot...so right foot front. Of course...then i end up switch stance after the spin. My coach said not to worry about it....trying to pop up switch would just confuse me. Seemed to make sense. Just take a cross step out of switch when done.
That Gaz, with his delicate teaching style, has you getting better every day. I give him lots of credit.

I am seriously impressed. Now take the fin off as you clearly have what it takes. Also... read Breath. It is a fantastic book, then work through the rest of Tim's work. He is a great writer. Words like butter. Take up Nursies offer and wait for the post.
