April 21, 1989

I was going through closets...cleaning out old crap...when I came across this.

Yep...
I did a couple plays in college.
Even though I was an outsider.
Not accepted (at any level) by the theatre majors.
I was just a stupid athlete.
A modern american lit shakespeare studying noam chomsky thesis writing stupid all-american athlete.
Why don't you go back to what you know?
Like... drowning?
They all thought I was sleeping with the director.
How else did I get roles?
Whatever.

I loved it.

Learning lines.
Studying dialects.
Character analysis.
Opening up...

It's been well over 20 years.
Maybe one day I'll get back to it...
